About Silvano Franzi
Silvano Franzi Silvano Franzi nasce a Verbania, il 14 Gennaio del 1945. All'età di 23 anni esordisce come semplice fotoamatore, ma ben presto la fotografia diviene per lui una vera e propria scelta professionale. Il suo lavoro nasce dal grande interesse per l'elaborazione dell'immagine e gli effetti grafici. Oltre alla fotografia convenzionale, egli si avvale dell'uso di tecniche e procedimenti meccanici e chimici: solarizzazione, viraggi, fotogrammi (foto-grafia), chimigrammi, controllo del contrasto con maschere, conversione dell'immagine da "tono continuo" a immagine "a tratto", collages e altri...
